The Warfield Fete is a community event which raises money for mainly local charities and groups assisting the community and suggested by committee and helpers and is grateful for assistance and donations of sponsorship and items for sale on various stalls and raffles. A presentation of the donations was held on 1st September at the Brownlow Hall.
A variety of children's entertainments and entertainers are on site to give them all a special day. Roundabouts, bouncy castles, ball parks and many other fun events are there plus all the old favorites such as the ferret races, the Morris dancers and the cakes stalls, beer and tea tents provide a welcome respite.
Help is greatly appreciated. It all has to be put up and taken down and the ground cleared up for the next day. Stalls need running, and many jobs have to be done. You too can help. This is a community group serving the community and is run in a transparent and open fashion. You might also like to become a committee member and help run the event.
